Parliaments emphasize the importance of promoting physical activity and healthy diet in order to reduce NCDs.

Members of Parliament emphasized the need to strengthen laws and policies to ensure the availability of fresh vegetables and promote physical activity as a means to prevent non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, and diabetes. NCDs currently account for 67% of all deaths in the country, with 22% being classified as premature.
