Kamrunnisa Munna is a seasoned public health expert with over 14 years of experience working on environmental and tobacco control issues. She has been actively engaged in policy advocacy and regularly contributes articles to national newspapers on topics such as health rights, safe food, environmental protection, and transport safety. She is also a co-author of several publications, and her articles and abstracts have been published in various academic journals.

Munna strongly believes that effective policy development is the foundation for positive societal change. Her work focuses on raising awareness and encouraging stakeholder engagement in policy processes, particularly in areas aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her research has notably contributed to advancing discussions on waste management in Bangladesh.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the National University and has received specialized training in Policy Analysis from the Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM).
