Citizen Network (CNET), facilitated by CLPA, is a collaborative platform of 30 civil society organizations representing 30 districts across Bangladesh. The network actively addresses key public health and rights-based issues, with a strong focus on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), promotion of Front-of-Pack Labeling (FOPL), and advocacy for increased budget allocation to support physical activity. CNET members also promote the development of infrastructure for physical activity, including safe public spaces and walkable environments, while advancing health rights at the community level.

The network plays a vital role in identifying and documenting local challenges related to public health, environment, governance, and human rights. Its core activities include community consultations, evidence generation, policy tracking, and grassroots advocacy. By bringing local knowledge and experiences into national policy discussions, CNET contributes to informed decision-making, joint advocacy initiatives, and public awareness campaigns. Through CLPA’s coordination, the network amplifies citizen voices, strengthens accountability, and helps bridge the gap between community realities and national policy processes.
