CLPA Trust (Center for Law and Policy Affairs) is mandated to ensure people’s development and well-being policies. CLPA started in 2008 working on local and national policy and registered as a non-profit organization in 2016.

CLPA team believes in ensuring sustainable development and working towards supporting and formulating national law and policy. In spirit, CLPA works at the community level with support from professionals and community-based organizations and takes learning and successes to the national level by adopting a bottom-to-top-level approach. Center for Law and Policy Affairs (CLPA) works to improve the health and well-being of people and communities around the world specially in Bangladesh. We are partners with local governments, health systems, civil society, and other stakeholders to design and implement evidence-based interventions that address the social determinants of health, such as poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation. CLPA’s vision is a world where everyone has access to quality health care and lives a healthy life.

Our aim is to create a greener and healthier planet for all. We work on various environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, water scarcity, and pollution. Our aim is to reduce the number of road accidents and fatalities in Bangladesh. CLPA works with various stakeholders, such as government agencies, transport operators, drivers, pedestrians, and civil society groups, to promote safe and sustainable mobility. We conducts awareness campaigns, advocacy programs, research studies, and training workshops on road safety issues and solutions. We believes that everyone has the right to travel safely and that road safety is a shared responsibility.

Center for Law and Policy Affairs (CLPA) believe that everyone has the right to live with dignity, freedom, and equality, regardless of their race, gender, religion, or any other status. We monitor and document human rights violations, advocate for legal and policy reforms, and support grassroots activists and communities in their struggle for justice. We also educate and raise awareness about the importance of civil rights by organizing workshop, social media campaign etc.  and the challenges they face in the twenty first  century.
