We are delighted to share with you that The Center for Law and Policy Affairs (CLPA) has been selected to receive the 2024 United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) award.The award ceremony took place on September 25th at 12.00 New York tine during the “Friends of the Task Force” meeting on the margins of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The UN NCD Task Force Awards aim to recognize outstanding achievements in 2023 with a focus on multisectoral action for the prevention and control of NCDs, mental health conditions, and the broader NCD-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year Awards scheme to acknowledged noteworthy contributions in the field of Assistive Technologies for NCDs and mental health.
